Welcome to Gardening With Goats!
A kiddy gardening class at Amber Hill Farm in North Stamford, CT. (4 miles from the Merritt but in its own little world)
In truth, goats aren’t the best gardeners. But they’re very good company. And if they can make yoga more popular, we’re hoping they can do the same for gardening. Also, alliteration.
At GG’s we’re on a mission to get kids outside and in the dirt. Gardening isn’t a cure all for picky eating however… true story, one of our kids (the human kind) refused to eat potatoes and carrots. Then she dug up her own and went full rabbit. Now she even eats kale by the handful!
Our classes are built for toddlers but work for kids of all ages. Sign up for the semester or visit for a drop-in class. We can’t wait to host you and your littles!
“The best and only local gardening class for children. My daughter didn’t want to leave!”
— Sophia Abbott, Darien CT
“The perfect escape into nature and learning experience for families looking to unplug. Gardening with Goats is good clean fun (while getting your hands dirty) and an ideal antidote to screentime anxiety"
— Avery Forrey, Riverside CT
“Can’t think of a better combo than gardening and goats! We came all the way from the city for this special class located in a beautiful oasis and have never seen so many happy kids playing and eagerly participating in the activities together.”
— Sabrina Burda, NYC
Food is medicine.
Our kids are the future.
Goats are cool.
